Alleged Sexual Assault Victim of Harvey Weinstein is Suspended from Twitter

The controversy surrounding Harvey Weinstein and the alleged sexual assault crimes he has committed against a slew of celebrities has reached a new low. Rose McGowan, an alleged victim, had her Twitter account suspended at the height of this scandal. She posted a screen shot of the suspension on her Instagram account. The actress has played a key role in exposing the major Hollywood producer; including her public disclosure of the alleged assault and using her social media to name celebrities who covered up Weinstein’s decades of attacks. Such people as Ben Affleck, Casey Affleck, and Matt Damon. “TWITTER HAS SUSPENDED ME. THERE ARE POWERFUL FORCES AT WORK. BE MY VOICE,” McGowan posted on her Instagram. She clearly believes there is some plan to try and shut her up. Weinstein has reportedly paid out millions in at least eight settlements regarding such matters. The disturbing reports, and damning leaked audio, were buttressed with talk that Weinstein’s abuses were an open secret in Hollywood, suggesting a coverup.
