Another child hospitalized amid MLB netting issues

With more occurrences of fans being hit by line drives at MLB ballparks, the issue of extending safety netting is becoming more of a concern. During the Kansas City Royals-Cleveland Indians game, a three-year-old was struck in the head and remains in the hospital in stable condition. Cleveland Indians shortstop Francisco Lindor is calling more safety netting to be extend all the way to the foul poles after his foul ball struck the child. In Indycar, severe weather disrupted the Iowa 300. After eventually getting underway, Team Penske’s Josef Newgarden grabbed his fourth victory of the season when the race finally finished at 2:14am.
