Washington Capitals forward and Russian national hockey player Evgeny Kuznetsov was banned from international hockey for four years. The 27-year-old failed a drug test and broke the International Ice Hockey Federation prohibited substances code. The NHL hasn’t suspended Kuznetsov instead saying he’ll undergo counseling. In the MLS, Sporting KC overcame an offensively boring game to keep their playoff hopes alive against Minnesota United FC. Sporting’s lone goal from Erik Hurtado gave Sporting KC a 1-0 win over the Loons. RT America’s Regina Ham reports.
