The unshakable quest to affirm every feeling has stripped therapy of its transformative potential, morphing it into a self-indulgent ritual rather than a path to genuine healing. Instead of self-discovery, individuals exit therapy sessions fortified in their own uncomfortable comfort zones.

However, does this mean the solution is to embrace the cold logic of artificial intelligence? Instead of looking to AI for validation, it’s time to rediscover personal responsibility and resilience. Instead of spending time recounting grievances to a screen, one’s time could be far better spent engaging in physical activity or meaningful projects.
