Texas Democrat Jolanda Jones completely lost it during a recent interview with disgraced former CNN host Don Lemon. The state representative made shocking comments that even she had to take back later. Jones compared normal Republican redistricting efforts to the Holocaust, one of history’s worst tragedies.
During the interview, Jones actually said the GOP redistricting plan was like the Holocaust. She claimed Republicans want to hurt Black and Brown communities just like the Nazis hurt Jewish people. This kind of sick comparison shows how far left Democrats will go to attack their political opponents. Even Jones realized she went too far and had to apologize later.
Don Lemon just sat there nodding along like this was perfectly normal. The failed TV host didn’t challenge her disgusting comments at all. Instead, he gave her a platform to spread this hateful nonsense to his small audience. This is exactly why CNN fired him in the first place.
Jones and her Democrat friends literally ran away from Texas to avoid doing their jobs. They fled to other states rather than stay and work on behalf of the people who elected them. These cowards are hiding out while Texas taxpayers pay their salaries. They’re basically holding the entire state government hostage because they don’t like losing elections.
Redistricting happens every ten years in every state across America. It’s a normal part of our democratic process that both parties participate in. Republicans won control of the Texas legislature fair and square, so they get to draw the maps. That’s how it works when you win elections.
Governor Greg Abbott is fighting back against these runaway Democrats. His team called out their desperate and anti-democratic behavior. Abbott refuses to let a handful of sore losers stop the people’s business from getting done. He’s standing up for hardworking Texans who expect their government to function.

America needs leaders who will show up and do the work, not drama queens who compare everything to Hitler. Texas voters deserve better than representatives who run away when things get tough.
