Time to Deport: Illegal Presence Alone Should Be Enough

In today’s tale of progressive naiveté and misplaced compassion, a story emerges that seems to spring right out of a playbook for confusion. A man, undocumented and hailing from Mexico, is making headlines not for contributing positively to society, but for being arrested – again. What do those at the helm of liberal media say about this? They suggest he’s just here to work, not to be apprehended. As if uttering that declaration magically dissolves his illegal status.

The Department of Homeland Security has already given the lowdown: our protagonist is not just undocumented, but has a rap sheet that includes a previous arrest. His encounter with the law was no accident. Yet, astonishingly, liberal news outlets focus less on his legal status and more on painting him as a victim of American policy. It’s a classic case of the media blurring lines between illegality and victimhood.

Now, let’s talk about accountability. This man, identified as David Perez-Teofani, supposedly faced accusations of a rather severe nature involving a child. The crux of the story is not the severity of the charge but the fact that he continues to face legal issues without mention of exoneration by evidence. Still, the media glosses over these details faster than one can say “sanctuary city.” Instead, they harp on about how he hasn’t been convicted, implying some sort of heroic salvation.

Let’s remind ourselves of the reality of non-citizenship and the standards that apply. This isn’t about nitpicking legalities or stashing away monstrous immigration policies. It’s about maintaining a societal structure where laws are respected, not sneered at. And yet, despite removal orders and indisputable proof of illegal entry, the man remains. Why isn’t the focus on enforcing our established legal frameworks sooner rather than waiting for a conviction that might never happen?

In a world where citizens adhere to laws and regulations, it’s perplexing, to say the least, when an undocumented individual appears more protected by the media narrative than the legal citizens themselves. The skewed portrayal of this individual shows how adept liberal outlets have become at creating martyrs instead of addressing accountability. While many enter this country legally and contribute meaningfully, equating this particular case as one of mere victimhood does a great disservice to all.
