Protesters in NYC Call for Violence, Celebrating Terror on American Streets

A shocking video from a protest in Manhattan shows a crowd openly celebrating and calling for violence “stronger than the first October 7,” and Americans should be furious that such rhetoric is allowed to play out on our streets. The clip — filmed outside media headquarters — captures a brazen call for more terror and reveals a militant streak in some activist circles that mainstream outlets too often excuse or ignore.

Protesters were seen waving Palestinian and even Hamas-affiliated flags while shouting slogans that glorify the October 7, 2023 massacre, and city police trailed the crowd as it disrupted Midtown traffic. This isn’t dissent — it’s celebration of mass murder and an explicit threat to public safety on American soil, and it must be treated as such by local and federal authorities.

Names are now surfacing of speakers who urged escalation, and videos from multiple events show the same pattern: inflammatory calls to “do more” and to replicate horrific attacks abroad here at home. These incidents are not anomalies; watchdog groups and independent monitors have documented repeated rallies where chants and placards cross into explicit praise for terrorism.

We should not pretend universities, activist networks, and certain media ecosystems bear no responsibility — they cultivate the very environment that radicalizes impressionable youth and normalizes violent rhetoric. Students and alumni turned up at these marches, and campus-linked organizations have often organized or amplified these demonstrations, turning ivory-tower rhetoric into street-level threats.

The question every patriot should be asking is simple: where is decisive action? Local law enforcement deserves credit for monitoring large marches, but monitoring is not enough when chants amount to incitement. The federal government, and yes the Trump administration in office now, must make clear that praising or calling for terror on American soil crosses a bright red line and will be met with criminal investigations and swift enforcement.

Our media’s reflexive defense of “protest” cannot be allowed to morph into complicity with extremism; calling out antisemitism and Islamist violence is not “politicizing” tragedy, it is protecting innocent lives. Platforms that host violent calls should be pressured to take down incitement, and universities that shield agitators should face consequences for failing to uphold the rule of law and campus safety.

Conservatives must channel righteous anger into action: demand arrests for incitement, insist on deplatforming genuine threats, and push for stronger homeland security measures so that chants do not become plans. We should also stand unequivocally with our allies abroad who face terror, and with American communities targeted by extremist rhetoric here at home.

This moment is a wake-up call for every hardworking American who believes in law, order, and the sanctity of innocent life. We will not allow radicals to celebrate murder on our streets or to intimidate our fellow citizens — it’s time to hold institutions and leaders accountable and to defend the Republic with resolve.
