The queen of Capitol Hill can’t even handle a straightforward question without snapping. The meme-worthy snapbacks and media moments are nothing new. A dynasty in decline, some might say, as she navigates challenges from left-leaning upstarts. Meanwhile, Hakeem Jeffries stands ready to take the mantle. Yet, even within his ranks, support is thinner than a piece of floss. With America’s trust in Congress at rock-bottom and a curmudgeonly grip on past strategies, the Democrats must hurry to find a playbook that doesn’t hail from the year of the dot matrix printer.
