Apparently, the suspect shared his genius plan on TikTok, which is a bit like writing your bank robbery plan on a public billboard. The bizarre episode comes as a stark reminder of the dangers citizens face due to the current administration’s lackadaisical approach to national security.
The alleged plotter was apparently one of many Afghan nationals ushered into the United States during the chaotic fallout from the Biden administration’s tumultuous withdrawal from Afghanistan. It’s a tale as old as time—or at least as old as this administration’s penchant for mishandling critical issues. Back then, planes of unvetted individuals were flown into the heart of our country, with the checks and balances system seemingly going on an extended vacation.
