The AG’s office, however, responded with a less than enthusiastic tone, implying that Lyons doesn’t understand the AG’s role in the state’s legal system. Apparently, the AG doesn’t oversee the detention of individuals and can’t just snap his fingers to make the state’s law enforcement comply with ICE detainers.
