In an age where being an “edgelord” seems to be the trend, some folks are loudly declaring their apathy towards political affairs. They claim they don’t care about midterms, Trump, or even the Republican party—insisting everything’s in flames and hopeless. But wait, do they understand the alternative? Without a doubt, the left would make swift and sweeping changes if given the reins.
Imagine this: with the filibuster gone, our Supreme Court could be expanded by adding justices, shifting its balance forever. Can you picture victory for conservative voices ever happening again? Hard to say, especially with voting policies that are shaped to secure permanent power for the left. Unlimited vote-by-mail, voting by phone—they’re all on the table. And don’t forget the push to lower the voting age to 16 and to naturalize millions of illegal aliens.
The plans don’t stop at the voting booth. By making D.C. and Puerto Rico states, they’d add more senators who would likely side with the left, effectively altering Congress’s balance. Skeptics might laugh, but labeling some of these areas as dysfunctional is an understatement. Yet, the potential consequences here are no joke.
Worried parents might want to start preparing now. Mandatory lessons on progressive ideologies, bathrooms where boys and girls share spaces, and an educational system that’s closed off to homeschooling seem to be part of the vision. The rainbows and unicorns of today’s progressive narrative come with a heavy dose of trans activism, particularly in sports and schools.
Protecting free speech would be another casualty. Voices that challenge the mainstream could be muffled, channels silenced, and platforms fined into oblivion. When the very channels that provide a voice to dissent are threatened, liberty as we know it hangs in the balance. Indeed, the road ahead includes choices that must be considered carefully—choices that could shape the very fabric of the nation for generations to come.
