Masked Thugs Terrorize Yucaipa Neighborhood with Chilling Holiday Threats

Residents of a quiet Yucaipa, California neighborhood woke to a chilling message this holiday season when masked figures placed Christmas cards on doorsteps containing vulgar and threatening language, including lines like “Dear Santa, I want the head of a Nazi under my tree” and warnings that “you are warned” with specific dates attached. Footage captured on doorbell cameras shows two people in ski masks leaving the notes, sometimes blowing kisses at the camera, and in at least one instance spitting on a neighbor’s car, leaving families shaken and terrified in what should be a safe, suburban community.

Neighbors reported the incidents to local law enforcement and were told patrols in the area have been stepped up, but many residents say that reassurance falls short when masked men are brazenly targeting homes at night. People whose houses were targeted report there was no clear political signage or provocation, and that the messages felt designed to intimidate and sow chaos rather than speak to any real grievance.

Let’s be clear: this is not spirited political discourse, it’s intimidation dressed up as “activism,” and it should be condemned by everyone across the aisle. When thugs roam neighborhoods at night leaving threats on people’s porches, we’re no longer talking about opinion — we’re talking about criminal harassment and domestic intimidation that deserves aggressive investigation and prosecution.

It’s telling that mainstream outlets describe the notes with language used by radical elements like Antifa, and yet you see tepid responses instead of a full-court press to identify and charge those responsible. Conservatives have long warned that tolerating political violence from the left only invites escalation; failing to treat these actions as genuine threats sends a message that intimidation is acceptable if it’s cloaked in “progressive” rhetoric.

Local residents also reported how the randomness of the targeting—affecting households without political banners, including a gay couple—underscores that the goal is fear, not persuasion. That randomness is precisely why this must be treated as a criminal matter, not a narrative to be massaged by pundits; when anyone can be chosen at random for harassment, your neighbor could be next.

Law-and-order conservatives should demand real consequences: collect every scrap of camera footage, canvass the neighborhood for witnesses, press the sheriff’s office for results, and push prosecutors to bring charges if identities can be established. Sitting back and letting such behavior slide will only embolden similar acts in the future; communities that defend law and decency must act now to protect families and property.

Finally, patriotic Americans should support these neighbors—install cameras, light up porches, form watch groups, and hold elected officials accountable for public safety. If we allow masked intimidation to become normal in our towns, we lose more than comfort; we lose the peace and security that underpin liberty itself.
