We need more of that grit and independence across the country.
So what must we do? First, we must build parallel capacity: more scholarships, more Christian-run colleges, and stronger campus ministries that refuse to cede space to the left. Parents, pastors, and donors must invest not in timid reform efforts but in bold institutions that will teach Western civilization, Biblical truth, and the priceless habits of character. This is not merely a policy fight; it is a cultural rescue mission for the soul of a nation.
Second, we must fight on the curriculum and campus-policy level — insisting on free speech, tenure accountability, and an end to ideological litmus tests in hiring and admissions. We should pressure state legislatures to stop funneling taxpayer dollars to indoctrination and instead direct support toward faith-respecting alternatives.
