Bongino Unleashes: Why Trump’s Actions Don’t Bother Me

It seems that some Democrats have decided to spice up their political playbook with a sprinkle of colorful language, perhaps thinking that dropping a few expletives will win over the average Joe. But Dan Bonino, a former FBI deputy director and Fox News contributor, isn’t buying it. According to him, the grand attempt by certain Democrats to come across as more relatable and rugged is as transparent as plastic wrap and just as effective. The problem isn’t their newfound affection for using foul language—heck, who doesn’t drop an f-bomb now and then?—it’s the lack of authenticity that gets under his skin.

Funny enough, this isn’t the first time we’ve seen this kind of awkward attempt to connect with the common folks. Remember when a certain Democratic senator tried to prove her beer-loving credentials by asking her husband a clearly scripted question about enjoying a brewski on an Instagram stream? The whole act was as cringeworthy as watching a cat wearing shoes. It’s clear that the middle class isn’t buying these forced displays, which seem more calculated than genuine, leading one to wonder just who they’re trying to impress.

Dan suggests that there’s a reason Democrats feel the need to force these acts of faux machismo: it’s because they’ve lost touch with the middle class. He observes that the Democratic base now largely consists of two groups—wealthy individuals who can afford to live in a bubble and those struggling economically and reliant on government aid. The hardworking coal miners of West Virginia, who they seem to think will be won over by some forced machismo and a few swear words, remain unimpressed. It’s like trying to win a pie-eating contest with a salad; the ingredients just don’t fit the occasion.

While all this is going on, one might wonder how the other side fares. According to Dan, love him or hate him, former President Trump has managed to retain his authenticity. Whether you agree with his brashness or not, it’s undeniably genuine. People know where he stands without the need for theatrics or sudden, awkward displays of toughness. His record speaks for itself with policies and accomplishments that resonate louder than any insult ever could.

Meanwhile, in a humorous nod to our neighbors to the north, Dan mentions Canada’s left-leaning politicians. It seems they’ve expanded the LGBTQ+ acronym to lengths that would give even the most seasoned spelling bee champion a run for their money. And it’s this kind of pandering to niche victim categories that might just tire out the average voter. In the end, no amount of f-bombs or excessively long acronyms will win over hearts and minds. Americans appreciate straightforwardness and results over manufactured personas—and maybe it’s time for some politicians to remember that simplicity often speaks volumes more than a script ever could.
