Among the priority topics will be his plans for the Department of Justice, signaling a possible shift away from tactics once employed against concerned parents at school board meetings. It would be refreshing to see the Justice Department redirect its resources from evicting prayful grandmas to real pressing matters. A return to the department’s roots is indeed welcome news for any American who values their rights and freedoms.
There might be some eyebrow-raising scrutiny, particularly around Blanche’s handling of certain high-profile cases and controversial files, like those linked to Epstein. Democrats seem keen to highlight these issues to paint Blanche in a less favorable light. But his record under Trump’s administration shows an Attorney General driving crime reduction and drug seizures to levels not seen since the turn of the 20th century. It’s a shame some senators are more focused on paying political chess than recognizing sheer talent. This confirmation process, amidst mourning the loss of influential senators like Lindsey Graham, proves to be a challenge for the White House, yet it’s clear the administration has faith in Blanche’s ability to right the ship called the DOJ. After all, isn’t an Attorney General who respects the rights of the people and returns the DOJ to its intended purpose precisely what this country needs?
