Assassination Plot? “No Kings” Protestors Eye Trump

It seems like the champions of free speech and tolerance have pulled a major plot twist this weekend. From the directors who once gave us the stay-at-home blockbuster—yes, you know, the ones who championed lockdowns and dreamt of permanently banning folks from social media for hurting their tender feelings—comes the latest “No Kings” protest. Apparently, these folks now believe they’re fighters for freedom. But, remember, this is coming from the same people who once wanted to send everyone without their sacred shot on a permanent vacation to some camp.

In an epic display, they gathered to yell and strut their stuff, reminding everyone of what they’re really about. Picture this: Among the crowd was a person of note, a woman who decided to role-play something pretty appalling—a celebratory imitation of an assassination. As you might guess, the internet didn’t take too kindly to her theatrical flair, labeling her as some sort of terrible, ogre-like creature. But the role-player goes by the name of Lucy Martinez, and she holds the noteworthy role of a public school teacher in Chicago. Picture that!

Now, when this tasty tidbit of information made the rounds, what did the school do? Did they hasten to declare that firing was imminent? Or perhaps it wasn’t who she claimed to be? Nope. They simply deleted their accounts—zip, gone, as if they were trying to erase themselves from existence. That didn’t exactly scream “innocent mistake,” did it? Talk about making an inexpensive admission of guilt without saying a word!

As if this wasn’t mind-boggling enough, this fiasco blows open a bigger trend, one that finds extreme pleasure in the macabre notion of assassination being celebrated. It’s troubling how this dark narrative is not just whispered but shouted, as though conjuring an evil spell. The cherry on top? A call for the demise of none other than Donald Trump by some colorful protester chanting about the mysterious “47th.” It’s all part of a peculiar trend where hyperbole knows no bounds.

Clearly, there’s an unmasked revelation here. This isn’t about standing for freedom; it’s about wielding intolerance like a weapon. The narrative is grimmer than any bedtime story and reveals quite vividly who these so-called defenders of freedom are. It’s time to believe what’s shown on this public stage. After all, as they dramatically unravel their own narrative, we’re just here, popcorn in hand, watching the show unfold.
