Carl Higbie Slams FBI for Ignoring New Orleans Attack Tips

In a recent turn of events, the FBI has found itself in hot water over its handling of domestic threats, especially in light of an incident that raised more eyebrows than a game of Whack-a-Mole at a county fair. For years, the FBI has claimed that radical right-wing extremism and white supremacy constitute the most significant danger to American society. The narrative has been hammered home through various public addresses and reports, painting a picture of the typical American threat as a redneck with a pickup truck. However, recent circumstances have led many to ask: are we missing the bigger picture?

Just yesterday, an alarming incident unfolded that has left many scratching their heads. A man drove his vehicle through a crowd, causing injury to over a dozen individuals. While such behavior is clearly reprehensible, what makes this situation far more confusing is the revelation that this individual had previously posted about joining ISIS on social media. Fast forward to the aftermath, and the FBI is quick to downplay the incident, stating there is no connection to terrorism. This leads one to wonder: how could a man with visible associations to a terrorist group escape the agency’s radar while they have managed to keep tabs on concerned parents attending school board meetings?

The FBI’s prioritization has often raised eyebrows, especially given their engagement in questionable investigations. The agency spent resources chasing down claims of white supremacy when they might have been better directed towards a man driving around with an ISIS flag emblazoned on his car. It isn’t hard to see the irony; while the FBI’s agents were orchestrating a sting operation to catch some “dangerous” folks planning a fictional kidnapping, a real threat was parked right outside their front door, waving a flag of a known terrorist organization. Go figure!

And if the scenario couldn’t get any stranger, the local mosque associated with the suspect issued a strange directive to its members. Instead of fully cooperating with the FBI, they advised congregants to refrain from speaking with the agency, referring them to an organization that many view with suspicion, known as CAIR. This group has a troubled history and is often painted as a shield for radical elements. By aligning themselves with CAIR, the mosque has thrown up a giant red flag, making one question why a community institution would distance itself from law enforcement in the face of such a threat.

In light of such events, it seems evident that a reevaluation of focus is in order—perhaps the FBI should reassign a few agents to thread together the dots connecting potential terrorists within the nation. Instead of vilifying patriots and labeling concerned citizens as threats, maybe real threats that arise from ideologies contrary to American values require closer examination and accountability.

Furthermore, the local and global picture has started to echo sentiments of frustration. As countries grapple with attacks attributed to unvetted refugees, the notion that banning guns or cars could somehow solve the crisis appears more ludicrous than a cat trying to swim the English Channel. These incidents have led to discussions about the systemic issues surrounding national security, including who is entering the country and the motivations behind their actions. One can’t help but wonder if everyone could benefit from prioritizing the safety of true American citizens over the comfort of those who may not share their values. It’s food for thought worth chewing on.

While the FBI may continue to insist that white supremacy is the primary threat, the chaos ensuing from a disregard for other dangers suggests it might be time to expand their focus. Keeping Americans safe should be their number one mission, and addressing the root of the problem, head-on, rather than getting lost in political narratives, is what voters expect. Stay vigilant, folks; the conversation around national safety is just warming up!
