A CBS Morning host just proved how completely insane the woke left has become. Vladimir Duthiers actually compared America’s plans to build a moon base to the evils of European colonialism. This is the kind of brain-dead thinking that shows why Americans don’t trust mainstream media anymore.
Neil deGrasse Tyson had to school this fool on live television. When Duthiers whined about moon colonization being like Earth’s colonial past, Tyson calmly explained the obvious difference. There are no people living on the moon to displace, he said, making Duthiers look like the complete moron he is.
The Trump administration wants to put a nuclear reactor on the moon to help America compete with China in space. This is exactly what we need to stay ahead of our biggest rival. But instead of celebrating American innovation, CBS turned it into another guilt trip about white people and colonialism.
This is what passes for journalism at CBS these days. They can’t even discuss space exploration without injecting their anti-American, woke garbage into the conversation. It’s embarrassing and shows how far these networks have fallen from actual reporting.
China is racing ahead in space while our media worries about hurting the feelings of imaginary moon people. This backward thinking is exactly why America fell behind in the first place. We need leaders who put America first, not journalists who hate their own country.
The moon belongs to whoever gets there first and builds something useful. That should be America, not China or any other nation that doesn’t share our values. We didn’t become the greatest country on earth by apologizing for our success.
Duthiers got destroyed by basic common sense from Neil deGrasse Tyson. Even a liberal scientist could see how ridiculous this woke colonialism nonsense really is. When you’re getting schooled by Neil deGrasse Tyson on being too liberal, you know you’ve gone completely off the deep end.
This is why normal Americans are done with mainstream media. They turn everything into a lecture about racism and colonialism, even when we’re talking about empty rocks in space. We need to get back to putting America first and stop apologizing for wanting to lead the world.
