CNN thought they had their gotcha moment all planned out. Democrat strategist David Axelrod tried to corner conservative Scott Jennings about Trump sending the National Guard to fight crime in Washington D.C. You could tell Axelrod was feeling smug about his little trap.
Axelrod wanted to make Trump look bad for using federal forces in the nation’s capital. He figured he could embarrass Jennings and score cheap political points for the Democrats. This is exactly the kind of setup CNN loves to pull on conservatives.
But Axelrod made one huge mistake. He forgot that crime statistics don’t lie, no matter how much the mainstream media tries to spin them. The facts about which cities are actually dangerous tell a very different story than what Democrats want you to believe.
Jennings fired right back with the Louisville question. He knew the real crime data that shows Democrat-run cities are the most dangerous places in America. Memphis leads the pack, followed by Cleveland and Toledo.
CNN panicked when they realized their ambush had backfired spectacularly. They quickly cut Jennings off because they knew he was about to destroy their entire narrative about D.C. crime. The truth was too powerful for them to handle on live television.
This exposes the massive hypocrisy of Democrat politicians who attack Trump’s law and order policies. Their own cities are crime-ridden disaster zones where families can’t even walk safely at night. Yet they have the nerve to criticize Trump for trying to clean up Washington D.C.
Trump’s National Guard deployment is exactly what Americans voted for. We want strong leadership that actually fights crime instead of making excuses for criminals. While Democrats coddle lawbreakers, Trump takes action to protect innocent people.
This CNN moment shows why nobody trusts the mainstream media anymore. They set traps for conservatives but end up looking like fools when the facts come out. Scott Jennings just proved that truth always wins over liberal propaganda.
