Texas Democrat Jasmine Crockett is facing major backlash after attacking Florida Republican Byron Donalds over his marriage to a white woman. Conservatives are calling her remarks racist and proof of the left’s divisive tactics.

Crockett said Donalds was “whitewashed” because he married outside his race. She claimed his support for conservative policies meant he’d abandoned his Black identity. The comments resurfaced from a 2024 interview, sparking outrage on social media and news shows.

Byron Donalds fired back hard. He told Crockett to “keep my wife out of this” during a radio interview. Donalds called her attack low-class and accused Democrats of hypocrisy. He noted Kamala Harris and Ketanji Brown Jackson also have white husbands but face no criticism from liberals.

Crockett’s history of rude remarks got attention too. She mocked Texas Governor Greg Abbott’s wheelchair, calling him “Hot Wheels.” She also told billionaire Elon Musk to “f* off” and suggested he should be “taken down.”
