Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates ordered the FBI to shut down investigations into the Clinton Foundation in March 2016. This happened right when Clinton was running for president.
FBI agents who tried to investigate Clinton’s corruption were blocked at every turn. Three veteran FBI agents were leading the investigation when Yates shut it down completely. The agents had found serious evidence in the book “Clinton Cash” that showed pay-to-play schemes. But instead of following the evidence, Obama’s people killed the investigation.
The obstruction went all the way to the top of the FBI. Deputy Director Andrew McCabe banned agents from recruiting new informants on the Clinton case. He also required his personal approval before any action could be taken. This shows how deep the corruption went in Obama’s government.
FBI offices in New York and Little Rock had started their own investigations into Clinton Foundation finances. When FBI headquarters learned about these investigations, they immediately shut them down. The message was clear – nobody was allowed to investigate Hillary Clinton no matter what crimes she committed.
This proves what Trump has been saying all along about the rigged system. The same people who spent years investigating Trump with fake Russia claims protected Clinton from real evidence of corruption. They used the power of government to help Democrats and hurt Republicans.
The timing of this coverup shows how desperate they were to elect Clinton. Yates shut down the investigation in March 2016, right as the presidential race was heating up. They knew Clinton was guilty but decided to protect her anyway because she was their chosen candidate.
Director James Comey later pretended to investigate Clinton’s emails but it was all for show. He had already decided not to charge her before the investigation was even finished. The whole thing was designed to make it look like justice was being served while letting Clinton walk free.
