What conservatives and working Americans should cheer is that this isn’t partisan theater — the Minnesota sweep reportedly produced hundreds of arrests and exposed a web of nonprofits and contractors allegedly siphoning off Medicaid and other aid. Those revelations involved federal agencies from DHS HSI to the FBI and HHS investigators, and they are now looking for connected networks nationwide. Law and order matters, and rooting out organized theft of welfare funds protects taxpayers and the vulnerable.
Noem’s blunt promise to “bring them to justice” and to follow leads into California should serve as a wake-up call to any official who thinks political office is a shield for corruption.
