Glenn Beck Exposes Dangerous Lies about Antifa and Patriotism

Glenn Beck did something too few in the media will do: he called out the dangerous, sloppy comparisons between rag-tag mobs and the brave patriots who founded this country. As the nation braced for a second round of so-called “No Kings” protests on October 18, 2025, Beck tore into the notion that Antifa agitators are modern-day Boston Tea Party heroes — a claim so ahistorical it would embarrass a middle-school history class.

Make no mistake: these No Kings demonstrations were massive and nationwide, organized by a coalition of progressive groups and activists intent on painting dissent as noble while excusing chaos. Journalists cheered the spectacle as proof of a popular uprising, but size and stagecraft do not erase the substance — or the question of who’s really pulling the strings.

Republican leaders were right to raise alarm about who shows up when the left stages a political theater piece and then pretends it’s spontaneous patriotism. From House leadership to members of the administration, prominent conservatives warned that extremists and Antifa types have tried to co-opt these events, and the concern isn’t paranoia — it’s common sense about who benefits from street-level disorder.

Glenn didn’t just insult the comparison; he explained why it’s dishonest. The Boston Tea Party was an act of self-government aimed at colonial grievances and rule of law — not an ideology of sanctioned violence and destruction masquerading as moral righteousness. Modern Antifa doesn’t stand for liberty or limited government; it stands for intimidation, property destruction, and an anti-American worldview that rejects the very Constitution those founders risked their lives to protect.

Look at what actually happened on the streets: while organizers promoted a festive vibe in many cities, there were pockets where confrontation followed predictable playbooks — clashes near federal facilities and a heavy federal law-enforcement response in places that have long been testing grounds for agitators. This is the pattern conservatives have warned about for years: legitimate protest gets mixed with bad actors and the result is chaos that weakens civic life and hands the narrative to the radicals.

The media and left-wing organizers want to wrap their brand of tantrum in the flag and call it patriotism, but ordinary Americans see through it. We are told that tearing down property and heckling elected officials is somehow a republican virtue when it suits one side, yet the same people who praise these mobs would be the first to cry foul if the tables were turned. It’s time for honest reporting, real accountability for violent actors, and an insistence that protest should be peaceful, lawful, and rooted in respect for the republic.

True patriotism honors our history and defends our liberties from both tyrants and mobs. Glenn Beck’s straight talk is a reminder that the fight for America isn’t won by cosplay and vandalism; it’s won by citizens who know the difference between principled dissent and destructive rage. Hardworking Americans should reject the false equivalence and stand for a nation governed by law, not by the loudest crowd on the street.
