People were regulating entry in this make-believe society, culminating in tragedy with fatal incidents that highlighted the sheer recklessness of such endeavors. It turns out that living in a consequence-free utopia isn’t as simple as some might hope. But in Minneapolis, sanity prevailed. The city avoided the Seattle route, learning from past mistakes and recognizing that unchecked anarchy isn’t the best option. When faced with a crisis, it’s reassuring to see some cities still understand the importance of law and order.
