Even China is hearing the music and has scrapped tariffs on American products. Surprise, surprise—President Xi is now open to direct talks which might lead to reduced tariffs across the board. The left’s bouts of hysteria and predictions of doom remind people of their friends who use Waze to get to the grocery store—completely unnecessary and occasionally perplexing.
Further putting a grin on conservative faces is Trump’s executive decision to defund public broadcasting outlets like NPR and PBS. These liberal media giants, who love to throw taxpayer money around like confetti, will now have to rely on the generosity of their fans—or maybe just crank up a GoFundMe campaign. President Trump is also holding prestigious institutions accountable, warning Harvard about its tax-exempt status due to alleged campus discrimination. Now, that’s checking the privilege in its place!
As the opposition party clings onto its narrative of deep regret among Trump voters, it’s clear they need to swap out that crystal ball. Voter regret is as prevalent among Trump supporters as humility at an award show. The voters, when asked, have repeatedly said they would stick with Trump. They believe in what he’s doing—securing the border, deporting illegal immigrants, reducing government waste, and negotiating stronger trade deals. These are core conservative principles, painted as controversial only by the radical left eager to double down on extreme positions nobody outside their echo chamber seems to care about.

The problem for them is, this dream team is seen by much of the country as a group of radical leftist extremists. Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett, who confuses deportation with kidnapping, adds a touch of comedic relief. Her assertion that Joe Biden’s mental acuity is beyond reproach, well, it’s a claim that needs to come with its own laugh track. Time will tell whether Democrats manage to find their way or if they’ll continue to wade in the kiddie pool of political missteps.
