Jesse Watters: Homan’s Insatiable Craving for Deportations

At 3:00 a.m., while most Americans were snoozing away, dreaming about perfectly fried bacon or missing homework assignments, a different kind of action was happening. The FBI, with a posse of local and federal agencies, was busy cleaning up the streets. They executed a safely the type of operation that makes “Law and Order” look like a Sunday stroll. Their prize? Henry Santos, the top dog of MS-13 on the East Coast, who ironically wasn’t too far from Washington D.C., hanging out in a Virginia townhouse. Somebody should have told him that living so close to our nation’s leaders isn’t really the best hide and seek strategy. His capture marks a significant win in the ongoing effort to tackle gang violence. The operation reflects the administration’s dedication to keeping communities safe.

Law enforcement, from the FBI to the local crossing guard who secretly dreams of making a collar, worked together to deliver this early Christmas gift to America. Arrest rates have skyrocketed almost 468% compared to the good old days when ‘enforcement’ meant leaving the gangsters in the suburbs to trade recipes with the lobbyists. This impressive increase is being hailed as a testament to the effectiveness of the new leadership, which appears to have been sprinkled with a little “let’s-actually-get-stuff-done” magic dust.

Interestingly, the operation has shed light on just how relaxed previous administrations might have been. The governor of Virginia pointed out that the suspect could’ve been apprehended ages ago had it not been for political inertia. Perhaps too much time was spent on existential debates about fireplaces in the Oval Office and not enough on rounding up criminals. With the new administration, however, there’s been a hard pivot to law and order, much to the relief of suburban Louis Lane-wannabes and those just wanting to take out their recycling without bumping into crime kingpins.

Santos wasn’t the only catch – turns out, the joint task force has already nabbed hundreds of unsavory individuals. These captures are a testament to the undeniable fact that security has to be the number one priority for thriving communities. As discussions rage on about immigration and border control, the current administration is focused on a pretty straightforward message: if you’re planning on coming here just to shove crime into our communities, expect a one-way ticket back. They’re not interested in running a hospitality service for criminals, and enforcing tough love policies seems to be the fruit of the day.

And let’s not overlook the key players who are lending their voices and leadership to these efforts. They’ve got a carefully curated lineup of folks who are not only compassionate about the well-being of American communities but don’t mind rolling up their sleeves and heading out for the heavy lifting. It’s amazing what happens when people are put in positions they’re actually qualified for. Maybe, just maybe, this is the type of leadership that can bring in the golden age, where the good guys are funded, recognized, and allowed to do what they were trained to do. Let’s face it, when border patrol and cops serve as babysitters and cater workers, we need a reality check. Thanks to current leadership, it looks like America is finally getting one.
