Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass is giving special help to immigrants after police raids. She signed a new city rule to support them. This happened because recent immigration raids scared many people in immigrant areas.

The raids were done by federal agents. They used armored trucks and horses in Los Angeles. No arrests were made there, but people were very upset. In another raid at a farm, tear gas was used and many workers were lined up against a wall.

Mayor Bass called the raids “military-style political stunts.” She said they traumatized children at summer camps. Now she wants all city workers to be retrained. They will learn not to help immigration agents during their work.

Bass also announced legal action against the federal government. She claims the raids are unconstitutional. Los Angeles is joining a lawsuit to stop these operations. The city attorney says the raids target people based on race and deny due process.

The mayor personally confronted ICE agents during one raid. She told them to leave immediately because it was unacceptable. Bass demands an end to all raids in LA neighborhoods. Thousands of National Guard troops have been deployed in the city since June.

This is a slap in the face to law-abiding citizens. Hardworking Americans pay taxes that fund these handouts. Meanwhile, our own communities struggle with real problems. It’s outrageous to reward those who broke our laws.

Mayor Bass protects illegal immigrants instead of citizens. She calls law enforcement “unlawful” when they do their job. This is pure political theater that puts Americans last. Our borders remain open while our leaders attack those trying to enforce the law.

American families deserve security and resources, not illegal immigrants. These actions show where liberal priorities really lie. They’d rather help lawbreakers than protect our nation. It’s time to put American citizens first again.
