Illinois Governor JB Pritzker just got caught red-handed being a massive hypocrite on national television. The Democrat governor went on Stephen Colbert’s failing late-night show to bash Texas Republicans for redrawing congressional maps. But here’s the kicker – Illinois has some of the worst gerrymandered districts in the entire country under Pritzker’s own watch.
Colbert actually did something useful for once by showing Pritzker a map of Illinois districts on live TV. The comedian pointed out how twisted and bizarre the 17th district looks, saying it moves like a scorpion’s stinger across the state. Pritzker just laughed it off and joked that kindergarteners drew the map, calling it his “independent commission.”
The truth is Illinois Republicans only hold 3 out of 17 House seats thanks to Pritzker’s rigged maps. These districts are so twisted and manipulated that they make a pretzel look straight. Democratic politicians literally drew these maps behind closed doors to wipe out any real competition and keep themselves in power forever.
Remember when Pritzker campaigned promising to veto any politician-drawn maps? Well, that was just another lie from another crooked Chicago politician. He signed off on the most gerrymandered maps in America without batting an eye. His word means absolutely nothing when it comes to protecting fair elections.
Now this same hypocrite is sticking his nose into Texas business and offering to hide runaway Texas Democrats in Illinois. Pritzker wants to lecture other states about democracy while he runs one of the most rigged political systems in America. The man has zero shame and thinks voters are complete fools.
This is exactly what’s wrong with the Democrat Party today. They scream about democracy and fair elections when it helps them win. But when they control the map-drawing process, suddenly gerrymandering becomes perfectly fine and even funny.
Hardworking Illinois families deserve politicians who actually represent them, not career swamp creatures who rig the game. These twisted districts mean your vote counts for less while Democratic politicians pick their own voters instead of the other way around.
Americans are waking up to this fraud and fighting back across the country. Pritzker can keep laughing on late-night TV, but voters see right through his lies and hypocrisy.
