Radical animal rights activists have completely lost their minds. On July 19th, about two dozen extremists from Direct Action Everywhere held a 40-minute funeral for dead chickens right inside a Trader Joe’s store in Oakland, California.
These woke protesters dressed in black and brought flowers to mourn over chicken meat in the grocery store refrigerators. They even had a Buddhist monk say prayers for the dead birds while normal families just wanted to buy their groceries in peace. The activists laid black cloth over the chicken packages and disrupted shopping for everyone.
This wasn’t their first crazy stunt either. Earlier in July, one of these radical activists actually glued his hand to the meat section at a Trader Joe’s in Pasadena and got arrested. The man screamed through a megaphone about chicken rights while standing on a cash register like some kind of lunatic.
The protesters are mad at Trader Joe’s for buying chicken from Petaluma Poultry, which is owned by Perdue Foods. They claim the chickens are being treated cruelly, but these are the same people who think eating meat is murder. They have been harassing Trader Joe’s customers and workers for months across the country.
Hard-working Americans shouldn’t have to deal with this nonsense when they’re trying to feed their families. People have the right to shop for groceries without being lectured by extreme vegans who think chickens deserve the same rights as humans. This is what happens when the far-left gets completely out of control.
These activists are so out of touch with regular folks it’s embarrassing. While normal Americans are worried about putting food on the table and paying bills, these privileged protesters have time to hold funerals for grocery store chicken. They clearly have too much time on their hands and not enough real problems to worry about.
The group calls itself Direct Action Everywhere, which sounds like a terrorist organization if you ask me. They think they can bully businesses and customers into following their radical agenda. But most Americans see right through their theatrical stunts and just want to be left alone.
This is exactly why so many people are fed up with woke culture and liberal extremism. When you can’t even buy dinner without dealing with crazy protesters holding chicken funerals, you know our country has serious problems. It’s time for these radical activists to get real jobs and stop bothering normal Americans who just want to live their lives.
