This is exactly the kind of dangerous thinking that shows why Sanders should never get near the White House. Castro didn’t just teach people to read – he used those literacy programs to brainwash Cuban citizens with communist propaganda. The reading materials were filled with revolutionary ideology and demanded total loyalty to Castro’s regime.
Sanders conveniently ignores the thousands of Cubans who were executed, tortured, and thrown into political prisons. He glosses over the fact that Castro destroyed free speech and crushed anyone who dared to oppose him. These are the real facts that Sanders doesn’t want Americans to hear.
This isn’t the first time Crazy Bernie has shown his true colors by defending communist thugs. He’s praised socialist dictators in Nicaragua, Venezuela, and even made troubling comments about China. Sanders has a clear pattern of making excuses for the world’s worst regimes.
The mainstream media tried to help Sanders clean up his mess by focusing on whether the literacy program actually worked. But that completely misses the point about the danger of socialist indoctrination. When government controls education, it controls minds.
American parents should be terrified by Sanders’ comments because they reveal his real agenda. He wants government to have total control over education, just like his communist heroes. This is how freedom dies – one government program at a time.
Sanders claims he opposes authoritarianism, but his own words prove otherwise. You can’t praise dictators’ programs and then claim you support democracy. That’s exactly the kind of double-talk that socialists use to fool voters.
Real patriots understand that freedom and socialism cannot coexist. Sanders’ defense of Castro shows he’s willing to sacrifice liberty for his radical left-wing agenda. Americans must reject this dangerous ideology before it destroys our great nation.
