The Democrat who spent years attacking President Trump is now getting a taste of his own medicine. California Senator Adam Schiff is under federal criminal investigation for mortgage fraud. The same man who led the bogus impeachment circus against our president is now facing serious legal trouble himself.

Fox News host Laura Ingraham broke this bombshell story on Tuesday night. The U.S. Attorney’s Office in Maryland is investigating Schiff for allegedly lying to get better loan deals. This is the kind of swamp corruption that hardworking Americans are sick and tired of seeing from Washington elites.

The scheme involves two homes that Schiff owns in different states. In 2003, he claimed his Maryland house was his primary residence to get a mortgage. Then in 2009, he bought a condo in California and claimed that was also his primary home to save $7,000 in taxes.

You cannot legally claim two different houses as your primary residence at the same time. But apparently Schiff thought the rules did not apply to him. He kept claiming both homes were primary residences for years to keep getting those sweet tax breaks and loan benefits.

The Federal Housing Finance Agency sent a criminal referral to the Justice Department last month. They say Schiff falsified bank documents and property records to get better mortgage terms from 2003 to 2019. That is sixteen years of alleged fraud while he was supposed to be serving the people.

This is the same Adam Schiff who spent years claiming Trump was a criminal. He was the ringleader of the Russia hoax that wasted millions of taxpayer dollars. Now we find out he may have been the real crook all along.

The timing could not be more perfect for President Trump and his supporters. The man who tried to destroy Trump with fake investigations is now under investigation himself. Sometimes karma really does come full circle in the most beautiful way.

American families follow the rules and pay their fair share of taxes every month. Meanwhile, Democrats like Schiff apparently think they can cheat the system and get away with it. It is time for justice to be served and for these corrupt politicians to face the consequences of their actions.
