Back in the day, mainstream Democrats at least talked a good game about border security. Once upon a time, protecting the jobs of blue-collar Americans was a priority, and they were a bit sensible about the immigration situation. Fast forward to today, where the talk has swapped to open arms policies, offering benefits galore to folks who’ve strolled across the border illegally. But when Trump points this out, suddenly it’s “fake news” according to our ever-reliable buddies at CNN. Because, you know, seeing our tax dollars thrown at non-citizens is all an illusion, right? As America bends backwards to cater to everyone but its own citizens, let’s not forget—we too must learn, adapt, and, evidently, get used to cow poop fights.
