Charlie Kirk, the 31-year-old founder of Turning Point USA, was shot and killed while speaking at Utah Valley University on September 10th. This wasn’t just any conservative activist – this was one of our movement’s brightest young leaders.
Kirk built Turning Point USA from nothing when he was just 18 years old. He turned it into the largest conservative youth organization in America with over 250,000 student members. While liberal professors brainwashed kids on college campuses, Kirk fought back with facts and conservative values.
The young man appeared on Fox News over a thousand times before he turned 30. He wrote bestselling books and hosted one of the top conservative podcasts in the country. His social media reached over 100 million Americans every month with the truth the left didn’t want them to hear.
Kirk was a champion for free markets, limited government, and traditional American values. He stood up to the woke mob on college campuses across the nation. When students needed someone to defend their conservative beliefs, Charlie Kirk was there.
This assassination happened while Kirk was doing what he did best – debating and educating young people. He was murdered for speaking conservative truths that threaten the left’s control over our education system. The radical left has created a climate where political violence against conservatives is becoming normalized.
Kirk leaves behind his wife Erika and two young children who will grow up without their father. He also leaves behind millions of young conservatives who looked up to him as a leader and role model. His death is a massive loss for our movement and our country.
The same people who spent years calling conservatives violent are now eerily quiet about this political assassination. Their hypocrisy is on full display as they refuse to condemn the murder of one of America’s most effective conservative voices. This double standard shows exactly who the real violent extremists are in this country.
Charlie Kirk gave his life fighting for the America we all love. We cannot let his death be in vain. Every patriotic American must stand up and demand justice while continuing the fight Kirk started to save our nation from radical leftist destruction.
