A dangerous trend is spreading across America that every patriot needs to know about. Islamic groups are buying up massive amounts of land to create their own separate communities. This is exactly what happened in Europe before things went terribly wrong. Now it’s happening right here in Texas.
The East Plano Islamic Center just bought over 400 acres in North Texas to build something called EPIC City. This isn’t just a neighborhood with some Muslim families. They want to build over 1,000 homes, shops, schools, and a giant mosque all centered around Islamic law. Governor Abbott is right to call this America’s first potential Shariah city.
These aren’t regular Americans who happen to be Muslim trying to fit into our communities. The leaders behind EPIC City have openly stated they want to create a separate society. They’re using a non-profit model that funnels all the money back to their Islamic center. This gives them total control over everyone who lives there.
Our Founding Fathers built America on the idea that government stays out of religion and religion stays out of government. Islamic governance completely rejects this basic American principle. When Islamic law takes over an area, religious freedom for everyone else disappears. Christians and Jews lose their rights while Islamic rules become the only law that matters.
We’ve watched this same playbook destroy parts of Europe. Muslim communities start small and seem harmless at first. Then they grow bigger and demand special treatment. Before you know it, they’re running their own courts and police while ignoring American laws. Local officials become too scared to enforce our rules.
The facts don’t lie about what’s really happening here. Muslims make up less than one percent of our population but file 25 percent of all job discrimination lawsuits. After 9/11, the FBI had to interview 700,000 Muslims to keep America safe. Now these same groups want to build walls around themselves and hide from American oversight.
Texas has always been the state that stands up for American values when Washington won’t. Governor Abbott and the Texas legislature have the power and duty to stop this before it starts. They can protect property rights while making sure no foreign legal system ever replaces American law on Texas soil.
Every freedom-loving American should be paying attention to what happens in Texas. If we let Islamic enclaves take root here, they’ll spread to every state. Our children and grandchildren deserve to inherit the same free America our veterans fought and died to protect. We cannot let political correctness destroy the greatest nation God ever blessed.
