Government officials now predict that 2025 could see a record-breaking 85,000 illegal entries. That would equal the entire population of Oxford flooding into Britain without permission.
British taxpayers are footing the bill for this madness while their own families struggle with rising costs. The asylum system has completely collapsed under the weight of fake claims and endless delays. As of March 2025, over 109,500 people were still waiting for asylum decisions, living in government-funded housing at taxpayer expense. Most of these claims will likely be approved regardless of merit.
The so-called asylum seekers are mostly young men from countries like Afghanistan who could have stopped in any safe European nation. Instead they shop around for the best welfare benefits and weakest borders. Afghans made up 15% of all boat arrivals, showing this is organized migration, not desperate flight from danger. These are not women and children but military-age males with unclear intentions.
Meanwhile, the British government talks tough but does nothing effective to stop the invasion. They negotiate toothless deals and build expensive processing centers while the boats keep coming. The few deportation flights they manage are blocked by liberal lawyers and activist judges. Every policy fails because they refuse to take the hard steps needed.
