Vance Blasts Globalization for Destroying American Jobs and Innovation

Vice President J.D. Vance delivered a hard-hitting speech that left the room quiet. He blamed decades of globalization for crushing American workers and killing innovation. Vance said elites sold the country a lie by pushing cheap labor instead of real progress.

He explained how sending factories overseas backfired. Countries like China didn’t just make cheap goods—they learned to design better products too. American companies got lazy, relying on low wages abroad instead of inventing new ideas. Vance called cheap labor a “drug” that ruined productivity and left workers behind.

The Trump administration is reversing Biden’s AI rules to boost investment at home. Vance argued higher wages force companies to innovate, like using self-checkout kiosks instead of hiring more cashiers. He said automation creates better jobs long-term, just like ATMs didn’t kill bank jobs but made them higher-skilled.

Globalization hollowed out towns and left families struggling. Vance called it a “conceit” to think America could keep designing products while other nations did the dirty work. Factories and design teams work hand-in-hand, sharing ideas and workers. Letting China handle manufacturing gave them the tools to beat us at our own game.

Vance slammed open borders for flooding the country with cheap labor. He said Canada and the U.K. made the same mistake, watching productivity stall as wages crashed. Bringing in low-skilled workers let companies avoid investing in technology. The result? Stagnant paychecks and dying industries.

Conservatives praised Vance for exposing the “failed experiment” of globalism. Instead of lifting other nations, it gutted America’s middle class. The solution isn’t more handouts or regulations—it’s unleashing American creativity. Vance urged startups to rebuild industries here, not outsource them.

Critics claim protectionism will raise prices, but Vance fired back. Paying workers fair wages pushes businesses to work smarter, not cheaper. Real innovation makes life better for everyone, not just corporate bosses. The GOP’s “America First” plan puts workers and inventors on the same team against globalist elites.

The speech ended with a challenge: reject the addiction to cheap labor and foreign factories. Vance said rebuilding American manufacturing will spark a new wave of breakthroughs. With the right policies, U.S. workers can outthink and outperform any competition—just like they did before Washington sold them out.
