Whoopi Goldberg just had another epic meltdown on The View. This time she went after Barack Obama and billionaire Mark Cuban for daring to tell Democrats the truth. Cuban simply said that Democrats can’t win by just being anti-Trump all the time. But apparently telling liberals they need actual ideas is too much for Whoopi to handle.
The whole thing started when Cuban made the obvious point that taking offense to everything Trump does isn’t a winning strategy. Any normal person would agree with that common sense advice. But not Whoopi and her fellow View hosts. They acted like Cuban had committed some terrible crime by suggesting Democrats need more than just hatred for Trump.
Obama also got blasted by Goldberg for telling Democrats to toughen up and stop whining. Think about that for a second. Even Barack Obama thinks his own party has become too soft and complainy. But instead of listening to this advice, Whoopi decided to attack him too.
This whole mess shows exactly what’s wrong with today’s Democratic Party. They can’t handle any criticism, even from their own people. Cuban and Obama were trying to help Democrats win elections. But the left would rather stay angry than actually fix their problems.
The View audience could be heard gasping as Whoopi lost her cool on live television. These people are supposed to be professional journalists and talk show hosts. Instead they act like spoiled children when someone disagrees with them.
Whoopi blamed Democratic politicians instead of taking responsibility for the party’s failures. She claimed regular Democrats have been out marching and doing the work. But marching around with signs isn’t the same as winning elections or governing effectively.
This meltdown perfectly shows why so many Americans are tired of liberal media. They can’t have honest conversations about their own party’s weaknesses. Instead they attack anyone who tries to give them helpful advice about winning elections.
Mark Cuban was absolutely right that Democrats need more than just anti-Trump messaging. But the left would rather have tantrums on television than listen to smart political advice. No wonder they keep losing elections when this is how they respond to constructive criticism.
